Job summary

Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager for the Royal Adelaide Hospital Technical Suites. You will lead a skilled nursing team, support the Nurse Unit Manager and ensure safe, high‑quality care during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

You will guide less experienced nurses, coordinate multidisciplinary care and assist with staffing, rostering and daily priorities while contributing to clinical audits and staff development.

Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for NMBA registration and a practice certificate.
• Sound clinical nursing skills and relevant experience.
• Experience in Technical Suites, interventional radiology and/or related areas is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a skilled nursing team and maintain safe, consistent care.
• Guide students and less experienced nursing colleagues.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary colleagues and help manage staffing, rostering and daily priorities.
• Contribute to practice improvements, clinical audits and staff learning to strengthen service quality.
