Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a motivated Nursing Unit Manager to lead the Medical Imaging Department at Hornsby Hospital. You will oversee a ward/unit, manage staff, services and resources to ensure safe, effective and quality nursing care.

As part of a supportive team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals and drive continuous improvement in patient care. The role requires RN Division 1 registration with AHPRA and a management qualification or equivalent

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse-Division 1 with AHPRA and relevant management qualification or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a clinical team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Nursing Unit in the Medical Imaging Department.
• Coordinate patient services, unit operations and staff resources to ensure high-quality care.
