Job summary

NSW Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration to support Southern NSW Local Health District. The role requires relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, strong IT-enabled communication, and a proactive approach to quality improvement and staff supervision.

You will contribute to operational plans, foster a constructive workplace culture, and help manage clinical services and resources to meet service goals.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in the field or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
• Demonstrated effective communication through information technology, written and verbal means with the ability to negotiate resolutions and manage conflict.
• Knowledge of professional practice with skills in assessing and supervising staff competence and performance, plus quality improvement programs, policies and procedures.
• Ability to contribute to operational plans, foster a positive workplace culture and lead organisational change processes.
• Capacity to manage and coordinate clinical services with resources to meet service and financial targets.
