Sydney Local Health District is seeking a permanent, full-time Nursing Unit Manager Level 1 for the Concord Centre for Mental Health in Sydney. The role leads nursing staff, drives patient- and family-centred care, and ensures clinical excellence within the unit.

The successful candidate will hold current AHPRA registration and extensive clinical management experience in a tertiary/district health setting, with preferred experience in forensic mental health environments and knowledge of relevant

• Extensive post registration experience in a relevant clinical area with clinical management experience in a tertiary/district health care facility.
• Preferred experience in forensic mental health, secure, or correctional health settings and understanding of relevant requirements.

Ideal Candidate

• Current unencumbered Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Extensive post registration experience in a relevant clinical area with clinical management experience in a tertiary/district health care facility.

Preferred experience working in a forensic mental health, secure, or correctional health setting, with an understanding of the legal, ethical, and operational requirements of such environments.
