Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District in Bega is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager Level 1 to coordinate and lead the ward/unit within the Emergency Department. The role requires evidence-based care delivery, resource management, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives.

The position is permanent part-time, 32 hours per week, with remuneration at $72.62 per hour, in a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Tertiary qualifications in nursing or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage ward/unit resources with Nursing Unit Manager supervision.
• Provide leadership within a multidisciplinary health care team to deliver patient-centred care.
• Manage KPIs to ensure effective flow and drive quality improvement.
