Job summary

The Nurse Unit Manager coordinates and manages the ward/unit and its resources, providing leadership within a multidisciplinary health care team to achieve people-focused quality care. Based in Bega, you will work collaboratively in the Emergency Department and share management responsibilities with the Nursing Unit Manager to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated effective communication through IT, written and verbal skills to negotiate resolutions and manage conflict.
• Demonstrated knowledge of professional practice with skills in assessing staff performance and implementing quality improvement programs.
