Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT is seeking a registered nurse to lead clinical care in our aged care service. You will develop, deliver and evaluate resident care plans, apply sharp assessment skills, and form meaningful connections with each resident to support their goals.

You will liaise with medical and allied health professionals, supervise Personal Care Workers, and practice holistically. A supportive, inclusive workplace with opportunities to grow into leadership roles is offered.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in aged or community care.
• Adaptable, empathetic, and strong time management.
• Commitment to contemporary aged care nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical services and develop resident care plans.
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments.
• Know residents individually and advocate for quality of life.
• Liaise with medical staff, allied health professionals and families to support residents’ goals.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.
• Lead the team with holistic care and decisive clinical judgment.
