Job summary

Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service invites a Quality Improvement Officer - Registered Nurse to join the Rockhampton team. You will help translate quality standards into everyday practice, support NSQHS compliance, and use data to identify opportunities and drive practical improvements across CQ Health.

You will prepare reports, engage stakeholders and support learning initiatives to strengthen patient safety and safe, high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current nursing registration with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated ability to translate quality standards into clinical practice.
• Experience with data, audits and consumer feedback to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Turn NSQHS standards into everyday practice across CQ Health.
• Support teams to meet standards and use data to spot opportunities.
• Prepare reports and resources, connect with stakeholders, support learning and training.
• Help teams improve processes, systems and ways of working.
