Job summary

You will provide senior nursing and operational leadership, supporting after-hours operations and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while driving operational excellence and team engagement.

Qualifications

• Mandatory tertiary degree in nursing and current registration/licence.
• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
• Pre-employment screening including criminal history checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient management of patient flow and bed capacity.
• Provide senior nursing and operational leadership across Mount Isa Hospital and the North West service.
• Lead after-hours operations and support high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Drive workforce planning and allocation to meet service needs.
