Job summary

Alfred Health is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager at The Fairfield Centre in Melbourne. This fixed-term, full-time role leads an inpatient sub-acute HIV care ward, coordinating nursing practice, staff development, and service delivery within a multidisciplinary team.

You will ensure patient-centred care, drive quality and safety, and support the HIV treating team within the Infectious Diseases program. A strong leadership mindset and commitment to staff growth are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Nurse with AHPRA.
• Significant clinical nursing experience in health services.
• Degree in healthcare/business management or working towards one.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in an inpatient sub-acute HIV care setting.
• Act as operational escalation point for clinical issues.
• Contribute to the Infectious Diseases program and ensure clinical excellence.
