Job summary

Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Nurse Educator Gde 1 on a casual basis to support and mentor student nurses, bridging the university experience with our clinical team. The role focuses on planning, delivery and evaluation of education programs to advance evidence-based, person-centred care within Tweed Valley Hospital.

The successful candidate will engage in professional relationships between students and Local Health District RNs, contributing to a supportive, flexible work

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate nursing education programs at facility level.
• Mentor and support student nurses and coordinate with university stakeholders.

About The Role

Tweed Valley Hospital is seeking Student Facilitators to join the team!

In this role you will be supporting and mentoring student nurses and facilitating a professional relationship between the university students (undergraduate nurses) and Local Health District Registered Nurses.

The Nurse Educator is responsible for the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of nursing education programs at a facility level to support development of evidence based, person centred nursing care.
