Job summary

NSW Health's Grafton Base Hospital is seeking a Midwife Educator to support and mentor student nurses and midwives, and to strengthen links between university students and Local Health District staff.

You will plan, develop, deliver and evaluate nursing/midwifery education programs at the facility level to support evidence-based, person-centred care and professional development within a supportive team.

About the role

Grafton Base Hospital is seeking a Midwife Educator to support and mentor student nurses and midwives and to facilitate a professional relationship between the university students (undergraduate nurses and midwives) and Local Health District Registered Nurses.

The Midwife Educator is responsible for the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of nursing/midwifery education programs at a facility level to support the development of evidence based, person centred nursing/midwiferycare.
