Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Nurse Educator to support rural nursing teams across Central Queensland, based at Biloela Hospital. You will design, deliver and evaluate education programs, mentor staff and promote evidence-based practice to build confidence and capability.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration; postgraduate AQF Level 8 is highly regarded. ALS, PALS and triage competencies are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
• Postgraduate qualification at AQF Level 8 is highly regarded
• Experience in rural or Emergency Department settings; ALS, PALS and triage competencies desirable

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate nursing education programs across the Banana region
• Manage learning resources and provide expert support for rural nursing teams
