Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service invites applications for a Nurse Educator role, a senior clinical leader responsible for strengthening the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce through culturally safe education, training, mentorship, and supervision across Torres and Cape communities.

This temporary full-time position, based in Cairns with travel to TCHHS footprint, offers a meaningful role within Queensland Health with generous leave entitlements and salary

Qualifications

Senior clinical leader responsible for strengthening the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce through culturally safe education, training, mentorship, and clinical supervision across Torres and Cape communities.
Supports evidence-based practice and professional development for Health Workers, Health Practitioners and Hospital Liaison Officers.
Contributes to improving health outcomes and advancing the Health Equity Strategy.

Responsibilities
