Job summary

NSW Health in Sydney Education is seeking a Nurse Educator (Grade 3) to lead education and training for the Forensic Mental Health Unit. This permanent part-time role supports staff development and patient care across 18 medium secure and 24 low secure beds.

You will drive a strategic education agenda, build educational capability, and shape workforce development while collaborating with clinical and non-clinical teams within Sydney Local Health District.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse or Midwife.
• Post-registration nursing or education qualifications for teaching roles.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in education.

Responsibilities

• Lead the education and training function for the Forensic Mental Health Unit.
• Develop and deliver a strategic education agenda to support staff capability.
• Drive workforce development and high-quality patient care across the unit.
