Job summary

Keysborough Secondary College is seeking a dedicated role to provide targeted intervention support for students across two campuses. The role focuses on implementing and monitoring small-group and 1:1 intervention programs, with emphasis on inclusion and numeracy improvement.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Inclusion Leaders and Wellbeing staff, develop learning goals, and use data to tailor support, ensuring high-quality outcomes and engagement for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of inclusion support and knowledge of intervention programs.
• Experience and/or ability in development and implementation of intervention programs that support student outcomes.
• Demonstrated capacity to monitor and respond to achievement and growth data for students.
• Demonstrated experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including cultural competence and sensitivity.
• Ability to actively promote the safety and wellbeing of all children in line with Child Safe Standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the needs of student Priority Cohorts are addressed in all aspects of the role.
• Work with the Inclusion AP & numeracy Leader to develop a college-wide numeracy framework.
• Liaise with Inclusion Assistant Principal and key College groups to ensure effective delivery of numeracy intervention programs.
• Deliver small-group and one-to-one intervention programs aligned with school priorities.
• Develop and review targeted learning goals for students within the intervention program.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention approaches based on data and observed growth.
• Communicate regularly with relevant staff and families regarding student progress and intervention plans.
