As the APS 6 Project Support Officer, you will play a key role in enabling effective program delivery by providing day-to-day support across project administration, financial management, governance, reporting, records management and stakeholder coordination activities.
You will work collaboratively with project, commercial, engineering, logistics and industry stakeholders to ensure program activities are delivered efficiently and in accordance with Defence governance requirements.
This role requires strong organisational skills, sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities within a dynamic and complex environment.
This position is based at Russell, ACT, supporting Navy capability outcomes across the broader EFFECTS Program.
This will entail:
EWIS Maritime SPO manages multiple Electronic Warfare systems across both surface and sub surface fleets, including the Nulka Decoy Product and a range of Sensors and Electronic Attack systems in both acquisition and sustainment phases. The SPO delivers capabilities to both the Australian Defence Force and the United States, with Nulka being one of the highest priority and highest tempo products in the organisation.
This position forms part of the geographically dispersed EFFECTS Integrated Delivery Team, working closely with APS staff, military personnel and contractors to ensure supported Electronic Warfare capabilities are delivered in accordance with operational and compliance requirements, budget and service agreements.
