Job summary

ASC Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking experienced Nuclear Safety Engineers to support the early establishment of nuclear safety, security and safeguards for the SSN‑AUKUS sustainment program. You will contribute to safety case development, licensing readiness and governance across shipyard facilities and operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or related technical discipline).
• Experience in nuclear or radiological safety.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist nuclear safety, security and safeguards advice
• Support safety case development, safety assessments and design assurance
• Contribute to licensing, regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Review and challenge nuclear-implicated systems, processes and artefacts
• Support development of nuclear governance, emergency response and operational controls
• Promote nuclear safety culture and mindset across the program
