Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick. The role involves routine radionuclide and PET imaging procedures, radiopharmacy duties, administration of radiopharmaceuticals and radionuclide therapies, and quality control of imaging data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation science (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent qualifications recognised by the accreditation board of the Australian and New Zealand society of Nuclear Medicine.
• Reliability in the performance of routine scanning procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in Paediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radionuclide and PET imaging procedures.
• Undertake radiopharmacy duties and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
• Perform radionuclide therapies and quality control procedures.
• Process and analyse imaging data and contribute to student training.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver diagnostic services.
