Job summary

I-MED Radiology in Mildura Base Public Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a permanent full-time position. You will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment to high professional standards.

The package includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a $5,000 retention bonus after two years, plus relocation assistance for flights and initial accommodation.

Qualifications: AHPRA registration and VIC radiation license; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job description

Based at our Mildura Base Public Hospital site a permanent full-time opportunity exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our friendly and collaborative team.

Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.

As the area's main provider of radiology services at both Mildura Base Public Hospital and our Healthscope court clinic rooms, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases, including Cardiac Imaging.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who is willing to learn in a busy private practice and hospital settings.

This position could be suited to a new graduate or a more established Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

• Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
• Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
• Applicants must be AHPRA Registered and hold an VIC radiation license
