Job summary

TRACKS Integrated Services is recruiting a Refrigeration Technician for an initial 3-month assignment in the Northern Territory. You’ll service, diagnose and repair a diverse range of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment as part of a safety-focused team.

Roster options use 12-hour shifts; options include 7/7, 14/7, or Mon-Fri with holidays off. You’ll operate across RAC units, split systems, building package AC and ancillary equipment, maintaining records and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• Current RAC01 Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• CPR and Low Voltage Rescue completed within the last 12 months.
• Current and valid driver’s licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose, repair RAC units from 2.7kW to 6kW.
• Service split systems from 2.5kW to 14kW.
• Work on building package air conditioners from 45kW to 113kW.
• Service ice machines, water coolers and chillers.
• Service air dryers; follow site safety procedures; keep service records.
