Job summary

Volkswagen Group Australia (VGA) is seeking a Regional Manager to bridge Volkswagen Passenger Vehicles Australia and our dealer network. You will partner with dealer principals and leadership teams to drive sales, customer experience and operational performance across the region.

The role requires deep automotive sector experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a collaborative approach to deliver aligned business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the automotive industry, ideally across OEM, dealership operations or field-based network support.
• Proven track record in sales, dealer performance, business development or similar.
• Tertiary qualifications in business or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Dealer Principals, General Managers and dealership leadership teams.
• Support dealers in achieving sales, market share and profitability targets.
• Monitor dealer performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective action plans where required.
• Work closely with dealers on forecasting, stock management and inventory planning.
• Provide regular performance reporting and insights to support decision-making.
• Support the roll‑out and execution of national sales and marketing initiatives.
• Monitor customer experience performance and work with dealers to improve outcomes where required.
• Conduct regular dealer visits and facilitate performance reviews.
• Assist in the development of fleet and corporate sales opportunities across the region.
• Collaborate with internal teams across Marketing, Product, Aftersales, Logistics and Network Development to deliver aligned business outcomes.
• Represent Volkswagen at dealer meetings, committees and forums.
