Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a General Manager for NSW to drive profitability, efficiency and growth. You will lead operations, manage budgets, ensure safety, and collaborate with the JV partner TOMRA Cleanaway while aligning with the NSW and TCA leadership teams.

Your role centers on delivering outcomes across People, Planet and Profit KPIs. You will champion a high-performance culture, guide strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance, while developing the team and optimising network performance to

Qualifications

10+ years’ experience in a leadership position, with operational experience.
Cert IV in Leadership & Management or similar.
Strong financial and commercial skills, understanding of pricing models, budgets and forecasting.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

Act as safety leader and ensure TOMRA SAFE compliance.
Build NSW organisation set up for success on People, Planet and Profit KPIs.
Champion employee engagement and TOMRA Culture, ensuring engagement initiatives are established and implemented.
Training and mentoring direct reports to ensure current and future success.
Developing, implementing and monitoring volume-building activities for the return network.
Overseeing contractual compliance regarding delivery of Network Operator obligations.
Drive a positive relationship with Joint Venture Partners and meet requirements as a service provider to the joint venture.
Lead expansion activities for the Network, including RFTs and Scheme Expansion.
Establish annual People, Planet and Profit targets/KPIs and ensure commitments.
Prepare and run monthly business reviews with leadership.
