Job summary

Kilcoy Global Foods is seeking a New Product Development Technologist for the Bells Creek facility to manage the full NPD lifecycle from concept to commercialization, with a focus on premium beef and protein products.

You will plan factory trials, source ingredients, run benchtop trials, and conduct product evaluations and sensory analysis, collaborating across teams to deliver innovative, market-ready offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Food Sciences required.
• Meat protein experience in raw and cooked products desirable.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, FSANZ and food safety principles.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; organisational ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage new product development from concept to commercialisation.
• Plan, manage and assist in factory trials for new products, equipment and processes.
• Research and sourcing of required ingredients.
• Plan, formulate and conduct benchtop trials.
• Design and conduct product evaluation and sensory analysis.
