Job summary

Prolife Foods in Altona, Victoria, is seeking a detail-oriented food professional to manage raw material and finished product specifications across the lifecycle. You will work closely with NPD, QA, Procurement, Category and Production teams, as well as suppliers and major retail customers including Coles.

You will bring food industry experience and a relevant food-related qualification, with knowledge of FSANZ labelling requirements and strong organisational skills to handle multiple priorities

Job description

Reporting to the NPD Technologist, you’ll be responsible for managing raw material and finished product specifications across the product lifecycle. You’ll work closely with our NPD, QA, Procurement, Category and Production teams, as well as suppliers and key retail customers including Coles.

About You

You’ll be a detail-focused and organised food professional who enjoys working with technical information and collaborating across different teams.

Food industry experience and a relevant food-related qualification.

Knowledge of FSANZ food labelling requirements.

Strong attention to detail, computer skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Experience with specification management and retailer specification systems, particularly Coles, would be highly regarded.
