Job summary

Yates AU Home and Gardens is seeking a senior product development lead to drive new product development from concept through launch for the AU portfolio. You will manage the NPD portfolio, timelines, priorities, risks and dependencies, and coordinate cross-functional teams across Marketing, R&D, Supply, Regulatory and Commercial.

You’ll strengthen stage-gate governance, provide senior leaders with clear updates and recommendations, and embed sustainability into initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Marketing or related field.
• Experience leading large-scale innovation or NPD programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of new product development projects from concept to launch for the Yates AU Home and Gardens portfolio.
• Manage the NPD portfolio, timelines, priorities, risks and dependencies.
• Strengthen stage-gate governance and ensure milestones are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Marketing, R&D, Supply, Regulatory and Commercial.
• Provide senior leaders with clear portfolio updates, insights and recommendations.
• Facilitate project reviews, stage-gate meetings and portfolio governance forums.
• Incorporate sustainability considerations into relevant product development initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the planning and delivery of new product development projects from concept through to launch for the Yates AU Home and Gardens portfolio
• Manage the NPD portfolio, timelines, priorities, risks and dependencies
• Strengthen stage-gate governance and ensure projects meet key decision milestones
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Marketing, R&D, Supply, Regulatory and Commercial
• Provide senior leaders with clear portfolio updates, insights and recommendations
• Facilitate project reviews, stage-gate meetings and portfolio governance forums
• Incorporate sustainability considerations into relevant product development initiatives

What We’re Looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related discipline with demonstrated experience leading large-scale, commercially viable innovation or new product development projects
• Strong knowledge of NPD, stage gate and portfolio management processes
• Excellent planning skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple complex timelines and competing priorities
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes
• A proactive approach to identifying risks, dependencies and delivery challenges
• Confidence using digital workflow tools, project systems or portfolio management platforms
• A strong sense of ownership, accountability and commitment to delivery
