Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering, Asset Management and Planning or other relevant field.
• Experienced in assessing large scale projects for the community.
• Able to engage and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and build strong partnerships and relationships.
• A skilled negotiator with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Flexible, agile and able to respond to changing priorities and to complete tasks within tight timeframes.
• A problem solver, with ability to identify and manage complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and asset expertise to support Manningham's interface with the North East Link project.
• Act as a key interface between Council and NELP, ensuring Manningham’s best interests are strongly represented.
• Conduct complex investigations and asset oversight, assessing large-scale project impacts.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders as well as State Government authorities and external contractors to protect community outcomes.
