Job summary

North Turramurra Kindergarten is seeking an experienced Nominated Supervisor to lead our growing, close-knit centre on the North Shore. This full-time role offers an above-award salary and a supportive senior management team.

The successful candidate will hold a ACECQA-approved Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, demonstrate strong leadership and compliance knowledge, and actively develop a high-quality learning environment with OWNA proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved).
• Current WWCC, first aid, CPR, asthma & anaphylaxis and child protection training; police check within 6 months.
• Leadership experience and training (Director/2IC and/or Nominated Supervisor).
• Strong NQF, EYLF and compliance knowledge.
• Experience with assessment and rating seen as ideal.
• Know-how of NQS, EYLF and compliance; OWNA proficiency.
• Warmth, organisation and love of building great teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service as Nominated Supervisor, setting tone and standards.
• Mentor and develop a motivated team including room leaders.
• Build a family community and drive enrolments through tours and local connections.
• Maintain compliance with national law, regulations and the NQF.
• Ensure the educational program remains exceeding expectations.

We're hiring: Senior management - Nominated Supervisor, at North Turramurra on the Northshore. Want to lead a small, close knit centre where every child and family is known by name?

Turramurra kindergarten is family run service on the Upper North Shore, with two rooms and up to 50 children a day.

Our Educational program is rated Exceeding the NQS (Quality Area 1). The foundations are strong. We are looking for an exceptional leader to take them further!

We are looking for an experienced warm, hands on Nominated Supervisor to lead our growing team.

The successful candidate must have;

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA - approved)

Current WWCC, first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis and child protection training, Gecko training and police check within the last 6 months

Leadership experience and training (Director, 2IC and or Nominated Supervisor)

Strong NQF, EYLF and compliance knowledge

Current WWCC, first aid, child protection training and recent refresher training and child safety training (including advanced Gecko training)

Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role

Practical experience in Assessment and Rating would be ideal

Strong knowledge of the NQS, EYLF and a strong compliance knowledge

Strong knowledge of using a software program ie OWNA

Warmth, organisation and a genuine love of building great teams
