Job summary

C2C Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor for a leading early learning service on the Central Coast, Gosford. You will drive day-to-day operations, lead the team, ensure regulatory compliance and deliver high-quality outcomes for children and families.

The role offers a full-time leadership position with relocation assistance for suitable candidates from Sydney or interstate and a generous salary package with superannuation and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care as a minimum.
• A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education is highly desirable.
• 3+ years' experience as a Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, National Law and Education and Care Services National Regulations.
• Demonstrated experience with Assessment and Rating and Quality Improvement Plans.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, Food Safety and Child Protection training.
• Willingness to complete a National Police Check.
• Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a valid Australian working visa with full working rights.
• No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staffing, ratios, rosters, budgets and parent communication.
• Ensure the service operates in compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Education and Care Services National Regulations.
• Maintain a strong child-safe culture and high standards of supervision, health and safety.
• Lead, support and develop the 2IC, Educational Leader, Room Leaders and educator team.
• Manage recruitment, induction, performance management, staff development and retention.
• Oversee staffing levels, permanent rosters, qualifications and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong, professional relationships with children, families and the local community.
• Monitor occupancy, enrolments, enquiries and centre tours and actively support centre growth.
• Lead the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and maintain ongoing Assessment and Rating readiness.
• Support curriculum implementation aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Ensure compliance with child protection, health and safety requirements.
• Foster a positive, collaborative and supportive team culture.
