Job summary

Lindsay Transport, a division of Lindsay Australia Limited, is seeking a Nightshift Allocator for our Sydney depot in Erskine Park. This role drives efficient freight movement with proactive coordination, planning loads to meet customer deadlines and coordinating with drivers and depot teams.

Proven experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of fatigue/mass rules are highly regarded. The position operates on a Tuesday to Saturday night shift schedule, with responsibilities spanning

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role in freight or logistics.
• Knowledge and monitoring of fatigue and mass in line with legislative requirements.
• Understanding of the chain of responsibility.
• Professional presentation with a friendly and helpful manner.
• Ability to manage your own time, meet deadlines and ensure output quality.
• Mature, logical and methodical approach to work.
• Clear and concise communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordination of freight and deliveries for local drivers.
• Planning and building loads in line with customer requirements.
• Equipment and resource planning.
• Raising and reconciling freight bills.
• Liaising with NTO, other Ops & Depot teams, floor staff and maintenance.
• Facilitating retrieval and imaging of POD documentation.
• Monitor and report fleet performance against KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with fatigue, mass and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure safe conduct of operations with site safety audits.
