Core Talent is partnering with a leading packaging manufacturer that has just launched a brand new site in Kemps Creek, NSW. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a modern, highly automated facility and contribute to keeping production lines running efficiently.

The role focuses on electrical maintenance, fault finding, and improvements across automated packaging machinery. You will work within a safety-focused team and have opportunities for overtime and long-term career

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW Electrical Licence (or equivalent).
• Experience as a Maintenance Electrician in manufacturing (FMCG/packaging preferred).
• Exposure to PLC systems and fault-finding or basic programming is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown response.
• Preventative and predictive maintenance across production lines.
• Work with automated machinery, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose faults within PLC systems and support automation improvements.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams.

Maintenance Electrician – FMCG Manufacturing (Brand New Site)

Kemps Creek

Perm Nights Shift:Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6:00am

$59 per hour + 30% Loading ($150,000) + Overtime (x2 double time) + Super

The Role

Working on a permanentdays shift, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a range of automated packaging machinery to ensure optimal plant performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown response
• Preventative and predictive maintenance across production lines
• Working with automated machinery, conveyors, and packaging equipment
• Diagnosing faults within PLC systems and supporting automation improvements
• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reliability
• Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• NSW Electrical Licence (or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within manufacturing (ideally FMCG or packaging)
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
• Exposure to PLC systems (fault finding or basic programming highly regarded)
• Experience working with automated machinery and fast-paced production lines
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and reliability
