Job summary

The Newman Night Space Program Manager will lead the program and its team, ensuring safe service delivery and positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people in the East Pilbara. You will work with families, Elders, Traditional Owners, schools and community organisations.

You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, rostering, training and performance, while building partnerships and seeking opportunities for funding and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team or program, ideally in youth, community or social services.
• Familiar with East Newman and Martu Community.
• Passionate about working with young people and supporting positive outcomes.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of the Newman Night Space program.
• Roster, staff development, training and performance for the team.
• Build strong relationships with young people, families, Elders, Traditional Owners and schools.
• Plan engaging youth activities and community initiatives that respond to local needs.
• Monitor outcomes, manage reporting, budgets and compliance.
