Job summary

APG Workforce is seeking a Labourer / Road Worker to join a traffic signals crew based from Russell Vale Depot, NSW. The role supports installation, maintenance and upgrades of traffic signal infrastructure with a focus on concreting and formwork.

Candidates with kerbs, ramps and footpaths experience are highly regarded. This is a hands-on, night-shift role starting ASAP, operating within a 9-day fortnight roster.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction or traffic infrastructure.
• Concreting and formwork experience required.
• Experience building kerbs, ramps or footpaths is highly desirable.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Physically able to perform outdoor work.
• WHS requirements understood and followed.
• Team environment and night-shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing traffic signal infrastructure.
• Excavate, trench, backfill and concrete works as directed.
• Carry out formwork and concrete tasks when needed.
• Assist with cable handling, pit installation and commissioning.
• Operate hand and power tools and light plant.
• Load and transport materials and equipment.
• Support maintenance crews with inspections and repairs.
• Maintain safe, tidy worksite per WHS standards.
• Support supervisors to meet deadlines and quality targets.
