Job summary

CraigCare's Mount Martha home is seeking a Grade 5 Registered Nurse for night shifts in a part-time capacity. You will deliver high-quality nursing care within a supportive team, while also working autonomously to meet residents' needs and care plans.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, aged care experience, and knowledge of quality standards. You will contribute to safe, compassionate care that upholds dignity and comfort for residents.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in aged care sector.
• Familiar with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of AN-ACC funding and assessments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work autonomously and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective clinical care per individual care plans.
• Develop and evaluate resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation.
• Support residents with dementia and those needing palliative care.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control practices.
• Promote safety, dignity, and respect in care.
