Respect Group Limited in Victoria seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join the team as the RN in Charge for night shifts at Mitchell House. The role delivers person-centred clinical care and positions you as the primary RN on duty overnight, collaborating with the care team to support residents.

You will monitor residents, document accurately, administer medications, complete assessments and provide guidance to staff during the night.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA is required.
• Experience as a Registered Nurse in residential aged care is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities are important.
• Ability to work night shifts independently within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality, person-centred clinical nursing care to residents.
• Act as the primary Registered Nurse on duty overnight and monitor residents’ health.
• Complete resident assessments and contribute to care plan development and reviews.
• Administer medications and ensure correct ordering, storage and documentation.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and provide guidance to care staff during the shift.
