Curamoir Healthcare Recruitment in Inner Sydney is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support residents with complex health and social needs in a residential care setting. You will deliver safe, person-centred nursing care, primarily during overnight shifts, with autonomy and collaboration within the care team.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum of three years' clinical experience in a generalist nursing setting.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Sound clinical knowledge, including age-related health conditions and complex care needs.
• Understanding of mental health, alcohol and other drug dependence, and homelessness-related challenges.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised nursing care.
• Monitor residents' physical health, mental wellbeing and changing clinical needs.
• Administer and manage medications per clinical protocols and legislation.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, medication records and electronic health records.
• Respond to changes in residents' conditions, behaviours and clinical incidents.
• Build respectful, therapeutic relationships with residents and their representatives.
• Liaise with medical practitioners, pharmacists and external providers to coordinate ongoing care.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning, clinical reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support residents to access healthcare and community services.
• Maintain compliance with clinical governance, safety and quality standards.
