Job summary

The Shoreline, NSW Mid North Coast’s premier aged care facility, seeks a qualified Registered Nurse for night duty to lead the overnight shift, oversee residents' routines, and manage any situations that may arise.

You will communicate effectively during handovers between shifts and with management, ensuring smooth operations overnight. AHPRA registration and residential aged care nursing experience are essential; additional gerontological qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and unrestricted practice.
• Experience in residential aged care nursing with emphasis on clinical assessments, care planning, clinical indicator analysis and medication management.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and lead night shift.
• Excellent communication and handover skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight operations and the night shift team.
• Manage residents' evening routines and handle urgent situations.
• Ensure accurate handover between shifts and keep management informed via email or phone.
