Job summary

Bingo Industries is seeking an experienced Plant Fitter to join the team at Eastern Creek on the night shift. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect and repair plant equipment, including conveyors and gearboxes, ensuring safe, efficient operation.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical trade qualification with experience in heavy industrial environments and a proven ability to diagnose faults. Tools, licence, and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification (Fitter, Plant Mechanic or similar).
• Experience maintaining conveyors, bearings, rollers and related plant equipment.
• Proven ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical faults and breakdowns.
• Proactive approach to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Own tools, current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Hoists/Heavy equipment licences (Working at Heights and EWP) highly regarded.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct plant inspections, pre-starts and preventative maintenance activities.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and promptly.
• Maintain and repair plant equipment including conveyors, bearings, rollers, shafts and gearboxes.
• Perform mechanical maintenance to maximise plant reliability, efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to complete shutdowns and improvement works.
• Accurately complete maintenance records and reports.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure work aligns with Bingo procedures.
