Job summary

Lutheran Services, Trinder Park Aged Care in Woodridge, is seeking a caring Personal Carer for permanent part-time night shifts (66 hours fortnight). The role offers hourly remuneration from $33.26 to $36.96, plus superannuation, salary packaging, allowances, and discounts.

You will work with a team to support residents daily, promoting independence and safety while documenting care in iCare. Applicants should hold Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) and have an NDIS

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability).
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in a similar role in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in daily living activities, ensuring dignity and respect.
• Promote independence and well-being, encouraging residents to maintain their quality of life.
• Collaborate with nurses, allied health, lifestyle, and hospitality support teams to ensure the best experience for all.
• Assist with mobility and equipment use to ensure resident safety.
• Provide emotional support and create a warm, nurturing environment.
• Accurately document care activities in iCare and follow best practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, residents, and families to provide holistic care.
