Job summary

Australia Post's StarTrack Premium site at Brisbane Airport is seeking an experienced Supervisor (Night Shift) to drive performance in our state-of-the-art facility off Boronia Road. Hours are 11:00pm–9:00am, Sunday night to Friday morning, with flexibility for the shift window and operations leadership role.

You will lead a large team of Freight Handlers, build strong internal and external partnerships, and deliver data-driven improvements while ensuring safety and service targets are met.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of facility operations and process improvement.
• Decision-making with a strong customer focus.
• Experience in air freight operations (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert in your operational area, aligning customer needs with service delivery
• Lead, develop, and performance manage a large team of Freight Handlers
• Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Develop reporting delivering insights, trend analysis, and data-driven improvements
• Identify operational challenges and implement targeted service improvement initiatives
• Partner with the Duty Manager to set and achieve performance targets
