Unknown Logistics Company in Werribee, VIC is seeking an experienced Night Shift Manager to oversee night shift arrivals and despatches and ensure smooth, safe operations in our logistics facilities.

The role requires proven supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse settings, strong communication with DCs, customers and drivers, and excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National laws is a plus, with forklift/license preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or management experience in a logistics, warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with DCs, customers and drivers alike.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Sound knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National laws and regulations.
• Experience in refrigerated produce transportation would be an advantage.
• Be efficient with electronic systems such as email and GPS tracking.
• Forklift licence is desirable.
• Current driver's licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all National Line haul movements.
• Manage any breakdowns or incidents.
• Manage and monitor all delivery timeslots and all loading times.
• Manage night yard duties, loading and unloading vehicles.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Identify process improvements and operational inefficiencies, recommending solutions to senior management.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shift activities and incidents.
• Manage handover from nightshift to dayshift.
