You will join the site maintenance team to keep production and packaging equipment operating safely and efficiently, performing both reactive and preventive maintenance on PLC-controlled machinery and related systems.
Qualifications
- Current Electrical Licence is required.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing or production environments.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLCs, motors, control systems and automated machinery.
- Proactive approach to preventative maintenance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on production and packaging machinery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across PLC-controlled equipment and control systems.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Complete scheduled maintenance checks, inspections and documentation.
- Work safely and in accordance with WHS and food safety requirements.
- Liaise with supervisors to prioritise urgent breakdowns and maintenance works.
