Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to run the night shift civil crew on the ANI enabling works project at the Osborne Naval Shipyard, South Australia. You will lead a small team on site, assign daily tasks, monitor quality and safety, and keep the Night Supervisor informed of progress.

The role covers drainage, excavation, pavements, FRP and concrete. Australian citizenship and eligibility for Baseline Security Clearance are required due to defence project requirements, with a

Qualifications

• Civil construction experience in drainage, excavation, pavements and concrete.
• Cert IV in Work Health & Safety.
• Experience leading a small crew.
• White Card (construction induction).
• Current driver's licence.
• Comfortable with night shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a crew on site.
• Allocate daily tasks to crew members.
• Check work meets quality and safety standards.
• Monitor plant, equipment and materials on site.
• Report hazards and stop unsafe work.
• Support new workers with on-the-job guidance.
• Keep the Night Supervisor updated on progress.
