Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering enabling works for Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) at Osborne Naval Shipyard in South Australia. We seek a Leading Hand to run the night shift civil crew on the ANI project, reporting to the Night Supervisor and guiding a small crew on site each night.

The role covers drainage, excavation, pavements, FRP and concrete. Australian citizenship and Baseline Security Clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction including drainage, excavation, pavements and concrete.
• Cert IV in Work Health & Safety.
• Experience leading a small crew.
• White Card (construction induction) and current driver’s licence.
• Comfortable working night shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a crew on site.
• Allocate daily tasks to crew members.
• Check work meets quality and safety standards.
• Monitor plant, equipment and materials on site.
• Report hazards and stop unsafe work.
• Support new workers with on‑the‑job guidance.
• Keep the Night Supervisor updated on progress.
