Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta seeks a reliable Cleaner / Patient Transport Officer to join our busy hospital team, predominantly night shifts. You will clean and maintaining wards, prepare patient beds, and assist with patient transport as needed.

Strong communication, time management and organisational skills are essential, with a calm and professional approach to maintaining infection control and safety standards. Flexibility to work nights and adapt to priorities is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hospital areas to a high standard.
• Prepare and clean patient beds and bed spaces.
• Collect and dispose of waste per procedures and infection control.
• Assist with patient transport as required.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning and ward supplies.
• Ensure wards and clinical areas are ready for the next shift.
