Job summary

Epworth Geelong is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead a patient-centred team delivering high-quality cleaning and safety across the hospital. You will supervise Hospitality Service Associates and support staff, ensuring infection control standards are met and service levels remain top quality.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar environment, strong leadership, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a healthcare environment.
• Solid understanding of cleaning standards in healthcare and infection control.
• Ability to review cleaning audits and drive quality improvements.
• Proven experience in managing labour and financial resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work evening/night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Environmental Services team to deliver high-quality cleanliness and safety across the hospital.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and cleaning standards.
• Oversee staffing, workloads and budgets; monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff and maintain positive patient-focused service.
