Job summary

Randstad is recruiting a Civil Supervisor to lead night-shift delivery on a water main and wet utilities project at Adelaide Airport. You will direct crews with a focus on safety and quality during deep trenching and live tie-ins in a restricted aviation precinct.

Ideally you have prior site supervision experience with wet utilities, Civils certification, and the ability to start immediately in Adelaide on a 9-month delivery window with premium night-shift uplifts.

Qualifications

• Civil Supervisor or Foreman with wet utilities or trunk water main experience.
• Cert III or IV in Civil Construction (or equivalent).
• Willingness to work night shifts for the 9-month delivery phase.
• Experience in airport precincts or restricted infrastructure corridors.
• Strong safety leadership and team-mentoring abilities.
• Full working rights in Australia and readiness for immediate start in Adelaide.

Responsibilities

• Direct site crews, plant operators, and subbies during night-shift operations (7:00 PM - 5:00 AM).
• Manage trenching, pipe-laying, thrust block installation, backfilling, and surface reinstatement for major water main infrastructure.
• Ensure safety, environmental controls, and site protocols near airport boundaries are upheld.
• Collaborate with engineers and project management to meet short-term targets and manage daily shift handovers.
