Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Overnight Fleet & Brake Technician in Renton, WA. You will service delivery vans with preventative maintenance, perform oil changes, tire services, and diagnostics, and participate in state inspections and advanced repairs as you train.

You will work an 8-hour overnight schedule with consistent 40-hour weeks and receive paid training, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation.
• Learn/train to do advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.

Overnight Fleet & Brake Technician (Renton, WA)

Work Location: 1320 Union Avenue NE Renton, Washington

Shift: Evening/Overnight Shift (4:00 PM &10:00 PM Start | 5 Days/Week)

Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 / hr (Based on Experience) + Night Shift Differential + Weekly Pay

Shift Schedule

5 days/week, 8-hour shifts

Evening shift starts at 4 PM

Overnight shift starts at 10 PM

About the Role: What will you do?

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• ASE Certification (s)
• Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests, electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experience
