Job summary

Goodpeople HR is seeking a Night Shift Assistant Production Manager for the Pharmaceutical sector in the South Eastern Suburbs near Clayton. The role involves supervising site operations, manufacturing and packaging in a GMP-compliant, TGA-licensed facility.

You will ensure GMP compliance across production, procedures and personnel, and manage documentation from job sheets to despatch. Strong leadership and GMP knowledge are essential, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding and experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
• Strong people leadership and technical production experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work straight night shift (10 pm to 6 am).
• Previous Site Ownership experience across the shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning and sanitation procedures for equipment and facility are followed.
• Meet the master production schedule in terms of time, quantity, quality and delivery.
• Maximise labour productivity and provide direct guidance to line workers.
• Minimise wastage, rework and rejects.
