Job summary

Chobani Australia is seeking an Area Lead for the night shift at our Dandenong South site to coach a 10–15 person production team, focusing on safety, quality and line performance, and to partner with maintenance, engineering and quality teams to resolve on‑line issues.

Reporting to the Night Shift Manager, you’ll drive OEE improvements, build capability and contribute to production planning while maintaining a structured 6:00pm–6:00am roster with regular days off and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in FMCG/dairy/high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead teams and build capability.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with OEE, attainment and continuous improvement.
• Proactive mindset to investigate issues and recommend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Drive a strong culture of safety, quality and accountability.
• Conduct regular line walks and proactively identify opportunities for improvement on line performance (OEE).
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering and Quality teams to solve recurring issues and drive root cause solutions.
• Support production performance through problem solving, operational leadership and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build capability through training, coaching and regular 1:1 feedback.
• Contribute to production planning and operational decision-making.
• Create a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture.
